Old and new stuff.

Hey!
Here's some stuff I had been working on. One of them isn't new actually, it was an old jump animation I left unfinished out of frustration (yeah, bad me :P ). And the second one is a basics animation, with a tennis ball, canon ball, and a balloon I animated for a studio test.
Here they are,

Jump, the resolution is kind of messed up, so use the direct link to watch it on the full resolution.

Great Dane walk cycle - finished

Guess I screwed up the timing of both the feet. The front feet take longer with contacts in comparison to the timing of the rear feet.

Any comments or critiques are welcome. Thanks :)

Malcolm blink

Hey!!
I Haven't  done with the Quadruped Walk yet, got the tail and head to finish up. But I thought I'd do something else for fun, and decided to go for little bit of facial animation. Its nothing big, just a simple blink, and I slightly animated the nose, and added the head squash as well..

Here it is,

Any comments and critiques are welcome, thanks :) Good day!

Quadruped Walk

Hey! Been working on the Quadruped walk cycle using the Great Dane rig, and its sweet!! :) Here are a few planning sketches, helped me a ton while I was on Maya. Greatly reduces the time you spend on blocking the poses out. Used some 2D animations, images, and real life footage.

Heres the blocking. Only the rear part for now, will post the finished version asap.

First post!

Hey!
Welcome to my blog, I'm Shashank Duggi, a character animation student from India. I'll keep posting my animation and drawings as often as possible. I had already given Tumblr a try, but left out unhappy with a few things , like the inability to embed mov files, and only one youtube link per post. So, here me shifting to blogger.

Good day :)
